NORTHERN WISCONSIN VOLKSWAGEN CLUB'S

FIX-IT DAY
Saturday, April 12, 2003

Keith and Jenny Wiegmann (Oshkosh) were our  hosts.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the Fix-It Day happen.

These are the items we tackled:

Adjusted Kadron Carbs
Rebuild and Adjust Weber Progressive Carbs

Beth and I (josh, 57 oval) would like to thank everyone for having us at the fixit day. I have been in the VW hobby for 12 years and never knew what I was missing by not being in a club. To be with all of you fellow enthusiast was great. your hospitality was amazing, thanks for the warm pole barn, I will wear pants and a jacket next time! Thanks Howard for taking me for a mad run to your place in the buggy, it put a big grin on my face, and a pain in my neck trying to fit in the thing! None the less a real fun experience. I will stick with the 36 hp in the oval yet. If I ever get the itch to build a hot rod VW, you will be the guy I talk to. The shirts and hats are great, we love them! Thanks Jim Bremer for telling me about the club and my oval, also! I am going  to bolt on the revamped 28 pic and hope it does the trick today. we wish we were in closer proximity to the club, but we will be sure to make it to more of the upcoming events. its great knowing that there is an unlimited amount of resources of parts and knowledge from all of you, and that you happily want to help us out. Have a good day everyone.     Josh and Beth
